Samsung Galaxy A52s Specifications Revealed Ahead of Launch

The Galaxy A52s, Samsung’s forthcoming A-series smartphone, has been seen in several leaks. In a fresh development, tipster Roland Quandt has revealed crucial facts about the phone, confirming previously disclosed information. According to the source, it will be available in two configurations and share specs with the Galaxy A52 model, but with a Snapdragon 778G CPU instead of the Snapdragon 750G chipset. Additionally, the CPU is featured in newly released phones such as the Motorola Edge 20 and the Honor 50 Pro. It claims a 40% performance increase over last year’s Snapdragon 768G, which powered many upper-mid-range smartphones. According to the leak from WinFuture, the anticipated Galaxy A52S will be 35% quicker than its brother.

A 120Hz Super AMOLED display

Samsung Galaxy A52s will have a punch-hole design. A prominent bottom bezel and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It will have a quad-camera system on the back of the device. The smartphone will have a 6.5-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixel) Super AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It will be available in the following color schemes: Black, Mint, Blue, and Purple.

A 64MP quad-camera system is anticipated

The Samsung Galaxy A52s is expected to include a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 5MP macro lens, and a 5MP depth camera. There will be a 32MP selfie camera for capturing excellent selfies.

Android 11 will be installed on the device

With a Snapdragon 778G processor and up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage, the Samsung Galaxy A52s will be one of the most powerful smartphones on the market. It will run One UI 3.1, which is based on Android 11, and it will have a 4,500mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the gadget should feature Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, 5G, a headphone jack, and a Type-C connector, among other technologies.

The Galaxy A52s is expected to hit Europe by the end of the month, challenging the top inexpensive Android phones. Pricing information has not yet been released. However, WinFuture says that the mid-ranger will start at €449 in Europe.

In March of this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A52 5G and A72 5G smartphones. Both products represented a shift in approach for Samsung, which is now beginning to include 5G connectivity in its product lines. Even though it is August, the company has already launched a number of 5G devices. The timing seems to be ideal for announcing an incremental update for the original A52s at this point. According to the leaked specs, it’s all about a performance boost at this point. Now this addition will surely attract the buyers. The specifications are not unique. Still, the phone will come under a decent buy category.

Samsung and Apple are strong contenders in terms of sales. Apple has its loyal user base and gains points on security and privacy. At the same time, Samsung is giving Android OS, which comparatively doesn’t have better security. Even this claim came from Apple about Android. Apple CEO Tim Cook said, “ Android has 47 times more malware than iOS. But this probably doesn’t affect Samsung as they are collaborating with Google for their Smartwatches. Users decide what to buy, and Samsung is still the choice of millions.
